Mycorrhiza

Mycorrhiza is a fungus that is symbiotic in most plants that promotes the uptake of phosphorus reserves in the soil.

What is it ?

Although phosphorus may be available to plants in the soil with the use of nitrogen-rich fertilizer, the uptake into the plants is hindered by the other materials that bind to the phosphorus. The mycorrhiza fungus attaches itself to roots and coverts the compounds into usable phosphorus. Introducing this ingredient can increase root surface area and growth.
